For my own reasons, as well as those of the government, you have to be 18+ in order for me to play with you. You must also have a form of instant messenger that you can be contacted with. E-mail, for questions that aren't as important, is acceptable. But for immediate responses, AIM or something like it is necessary. I'm not looking for an online best friend, but I enjoy chatting about my storylines or plots. If you don't want to talk OOC about our storyline, then I'm probably not the player for you.

My replies range anywhere from one sentence to several paragraphs. I like to go in depth to what my character is thinking and feeling at any given time in any given situation. However, I also work off the replies I'm given. If my partner wants to keep the scene moving with simple tags, then I will oblige. If taking my time isn't an issue then my replies will be a little longer. But don't expect me to reply with five paragraphs every time when all you're giving me is one.

I'm online most days at 9pm EST. Occasionally, this time will differ depending on the time I get out of work that night, or whether or not I'm busy. I do have a social life outside of RP and I'm attending school full time. That being said, just because I'm on AIM doesn't mean I'm available to thread. If I'm not IMing you, I'm not mad, avoiding or ignoring you. Chances are, if I'm not replying or haven't instant messaged you, I'm probably doing homework or otherwise occupied. Please don't pressure me to respond to your threads if this is the case. It only makes me dread playing, and RP should be fun for everyone.
characters and games
As far as my characters go, I play both women and men. A lot of times, I'll try to stick to what a game needs as far as gender ratios. My characters are mostly heterosexual, though I've played bisexual men once or twice. I don't play lesbians or homosexual men. I also try to steer clear of pregnancy lines. I'm just not good at them. And they tend to bore me.

I dabble in many fandoms, though most popularly Harry Potter. My favorites are Luna Lovegood, Kirley Duke, Mrs. Lovegood, and Donaghan Tremlett. I've also played Draco Malfoy, Michael Corner, Florean Fortescue, Remus Lupin, Melinda Bobbin, Barty Crouch Jr. and several future!Warts original characters. In the Marvel fandom, I play Warren Worthington (Angel), Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat) and Scott Summers (Cyclops). If Greek Mythology can be counted as a fandom, I prefer Ariadne or Hermes as long as there's a good Dionysus to play off. I also enjoy Hera.

I've done many other things including but not limited to: British literature, historical clones (King Tut, Amelia Earhart, Sigmund Freud) and several original superpower games.

I will not do Twilight, panfandom, strictly slash or purely smut, farfetched AU, celeb, Supernatural (the TV show), Gossip Girl, Lost, Heroes, or vampire games. I find games based on TV shows are too limited and everything else just squicks me out.
